RTSH has announced that Junior Fest will return as the Albanian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
The Albanian public broadcaster RTSH has announced that Junior Fest will be used as the nations selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Junior Fest was previously the Albanian selection show for Junior Eurovision from 2017 to 2024, before being replaced by Festivali i Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës për Fëmijë. The Director of Festivali i Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës për Fëmijë had stated just days ago that the show would lead to Junior Eurovision, before RTSH announced Junior Fest.
RTSH states that:
“Junior Fest returns this year as an artistic journey full of energy, dreams and music, for all children and teenagers who want to express their talent on the biggest music stage for young people.
We invite all young artists, singers, performers and creators to become part of this special journey, which not only promotes talent and creativity, but also opens the doors to the greatest European experience for children and teenagers, that of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Junior Fest is not just a festival. It is emotion, passion, friendship, spectacle, experience and a unique opportunity to represent Albania in the international arena.”
Further details of the selection and how singers can participate will be released in the coming days.
