The twenty-eighth artist to feature in our Who Is series for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is Teya Dora from Serbia.
Teodora Pavlovska, known professionally as Teya Dora was born on May 1st, 1992 in Bor, Serbia. After receiving a scholarship, she studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Teya Dora published her first song as an artist, “Da na meni je“, in July 2019. In 2023 she released her single “Džanum“, which has gained popularity on the social media platform TikTok and other musical platforms.
Teya Dora was one of the songwriters behind Filarri’s Pesma za Evroviziju 2023 entry, “Posle mene“, with came 13th in the final.
Teya Dora won Pesma za Evroviziju 2024, and will represent Serbia at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Ramonda”. She came first with the jury vote, and second with the public televote.
Teya Dora will represent Serbia in the first half of the First Semi-Final in Malmö on 7 May.

Serbia has competed as an independent nation in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2007 and has seen great success in the competition. Their first entry in 2007, “Molitva” by Marija Šerifović, won the contest in Helsinki with 268 points, making Serbia’s debut one of the most successful in Eurovision history. Since then, Serbia finished in the top 10 a further four times, including a 3rd place finish in 2012 with “Nije ljubav stvar” by Željko Joksimović.
