Eurovision 2022 Live-On-Tapes: 🇩🇰 Denmark, 🇦🇹 Austria & 🇮🇸 Iceland

The Eurovision 2022 live-on-tape performances for Denmark, Iceland and Austria have been released on the official Eurovision Youtube channel.

Every day until June 23, the live-on-tape performances for Eurovision 2022 will be released on the official Eurovision Youtube channel. These performances were recorded before the contest and would have been used if a delegation was unable to travel to Turin due to Covid-19 restrictions or if someone in the delegation contracted Covid-19 while in Turin and was not able to leave quarantine before the live shows.

A small number of yet unnamed broadcasters have opted for their backup performances to not be published, just as Ireland and the United Kingdom chose to last year. To date only the Netherlands and the Czech Republic have publicly stated they will not be releasing their performances. Moldova did not release their live-on-tape performance either but have not given an explanation as to why.

Ukraine, who went on to win the contest, were exempt from recording a live-on-tape due to the ongoing war in the country.

The live-on-tape performances released today were:

🇩🇰 Denmark: Reddi – “The Show”

🇦🇹 Austria: Lumix feat. Pia Maria – “Halo”

🇮🇸 Iceland: Systur – “Með hækkandi sól”

The countries that have released their live-on-tape performances on the official Eurovision YouTube channel are:

• June 14 –  Albania,  Latvia and  Lithuania
• June 15 –  Switzerland,  Slovenia &  Bulgaria
• June 16 – 🇵🇹 Portugal & 🇭🇷 Croatia

A further two countries already revealed their live-on-tape performances prior to the general release by the EBU. These countries are:

•  Poland: Ochman – “River“
•  Montenegro: Vladana – “Breathe“
