After finishing last in last years Junior Eurovision Song Contest it was reported in the Macedonian press that it was highlyย likely that FYR Macedonia would not take part in this years contest, however the call for volunteers for the contest may have confirmed their participation.
PBS asked for volunteers who could speakย Italian, Swedish, Dutch, Russian, Ukranian, Greek, Macedonian, and English. The fact that Macedonian language is asked for points to theย likelihoodย that Macedonia will continue to take part in Junior Eurovision. So far MRT has not made any comment about participating in this years contest or responded to our emails.
FYR Macedonia debuted in the contest in 2003 and has participated every year except 2012 when Macedonia took a year out.

Man, I hope Macedonia takes part this year ๐
Yay. I am so happy. That means that the 12 Countries of 2013 will be on 2014 too.
And what about volunteers who could speak Azeri or Romanian? Does that mean Azerbaijan and Moldova won’t take part this year? Neither is Hungarian mentiond – is that a bad sign? And what about Armenian and Georgian???
They also Said That other Languages will be requested.
i want that country to withdraw this year.
