The winners of the three categories in the Festival di Sanremo 2027 will go on tour across Europe, as part of Italia 2027.
The Italian Minister of Tourism and RAI have announced that the overall winner of the Festival di Sanremo 2027, its Eurovision representative and the winner of Sanremo Giovani will perform as part of a four date tour across Europe. The three singers will head to Paris, Madrid, Munich and London the week after the Festival di Sanremo 2027 takes place, to perform for audiences across the continent.
The concert series known as Italia 2027 is part of a wider Government initiative to promote the Italian music industry and give its artists wider exposure on the international stage. The three Festival di Sanremo 2027 winners will be joined by past Italian Eurovision representatives, Sanremo participants and notable Italian singers.
Tourism Minister Gianmarco Mazzi commented:

Festival di Sanremo 2027 will be held between February 16 and 20. The Artistic Director of Festival di Sanremo 2027, Stefano De Martino, confirmed in an interview with local media outlet Corriere della Sera that Italy will chose their representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 with a specific competition, which will be held on the fourth night of the Festival on February 19.

Italy debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 and has participated a total of 42 times to date. Italy returned to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 having last participated in the contest in 1997. The country has withdrawn from the contest on a number of occasions in the past. Italy has won the contest three times, the first time being in 1964 and the latest being in 2021. Since their return in 2011, Italy has finished in the top 10 on thirteen occasions out of fifteen.
