159 songs were submitted into the Romanian selection, however on 150 have been accepted due to 9 songs failure to comply with the rules of the Romanian selection.
Tomorrow and Thursday the judges will select the 12 acts that will take part in what is expected to be one of the highest quality selections in Romania for a number of years. This year has seen a plethora of big name acts in Romania submit songs into the contest, including Paula & Ovi who represented Romania in 2010.
The final will be held on March 1st in Brasov, meaning that the contest is held for the first time in a number of years outside of Bucharest.
