MRT, the Macedonian national broadcaster, has announced that it will air the auditions for Junior Eurovision 2026 tomorrow morning.
The Macedonian auditions for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be aired on MRT 1 from 08:10 CEST tomorrow morning. The live audition round was held on May 1 in MRT Studios in Skopje. After reviewing all of the applications, nine artists were invited to the live audition round.
A separate selection will determine the Macedonian entry for Junior Eurovision 2026. The deadline for the song selection was last week. The entry will be matched with the winner of the artist selection, who will represent North Macedonia in Ta’ Qali.
Nela Mančeska represented North Macedonia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song “Miracle”. She placed 7th with 141 points.

North Macedonia was one of 16 countries to take part in the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. Marija & Viktorija on the country’s debut with the song “Ti ne me poznavaš”, finishing 12th with 19 points. North Macedonia’s best result to date is 5th place, which they achieved in 2007 with “Ding Ding Dong” by Rosica & Dimitar and in 2008 with “Prati mi SMS” by Bobi Andonov.
