The Cypriot broadcaster CyBC will air two preview shows ahead of the Semi-Finals of the 70th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
United by Music will air on RIK 1 and RIK HD ahead of Semi-Final One and Semi-Final Two and will be hosted by Andrea Anastasiou. The show will bring viewers backstage content, discussion, predictions and games as the minutes count down to the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. The guests for the show are Melina Karageorgiou, Dimitra Georgiou, Pan Dragomir and Theos Blue.
Antigoni was internally selected to represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. She was the first artist to be revealed for this year’s contest. She will perform “Jalla” in Vienna and will perform in slot 8 in the second semi-final on May 14.

Cyprus debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981. Their best result was in 2018, when Eleni Foureira and the song “Fuego” finished second with 436 points. Before then, their best results in the contest came in the form of three fifth-place finishes. These fifth-place finishes were Anna Vissi with “Mono i agapi” in 1982, Hara & Andreas Constantinou with “Mana mou” in 1997 and Lisa Andreas with “Stronger Every Minute” in 2004. Cyprus currently holds the record for the most participations in Eurovision without a win.
