The first photographs from the rehearsals for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 have been released.
After the first set of countries rehearsed in the Wiener Stadthalle yesterday, the EBU has released photos of those first rehearsals. Only three approved images of each rehearsal will be released, a day after the country had their first rehearsal in the Austrian capital.
🇲🇩 Moldova: Satoshi – “Viva Moldova!”
Satoshi and the entire crew have new outfits for their performance of “Viva Moldova!”. The Moldovans are making good use of the LED wall, with new graphics created for the contest in Vienna.
🇸🇪 Sweden: Felicia – “My System”
Felicia takes to the stage with a new look for the Eurovision stage. She will now wear red gloves on stage, with her dress now featuring a bodice covered in embroidery and crystals. The staging remains similar to Melodifestivalen.
🇭🇷 Croatia: LELEK – “Andromeda”
Lelek have elevated their staging from the performance at Dora 2026, with the LED screen behind them showing different views. Four members of the band are wearing red robes with touches of white, while another member is wearing a white robe with touches of red.
🇬🇷 Greece: Akylas – “Ferto”
Akylas brings the fun of “Ferto” to the Vienna stage. According to ERT, “Akylas, on the Eurovision stage, in the context of a video game and in a humorous and dynamic way , meets four characters (Parthena Chorozidou, Christos Nikolaou, Michalis Michailidis, Konstantinos Makripidis). Then, as a transgression, the representative of Greece, coming out of character, removes his glasses and addresses his mother at an intensely emotional point in the presentation.”
🇵🇹 Portugal: Bandidos do Cante – “Rosa”
Portugal has revamped their performance since the national selection. Bandidos do Cante are wearing new outfits in neutral tones of cream, green, whote, beige and brown. The graphics have also been updated with rose motifs.
🇬🇪 Georgia: Bzikebi – “On Replay”
Bzikebi are throwing back to Junior Eurovision with their black and yellow outfits. The performance incorporates pyro technics and graphics depicting the trio on the LED screen. The group will be hoping to replicate their success from Junior Eurovision 2008.
🇫🇮 Finland: Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen – “Liekinheitin”
Finland appears to have polished their performance from the national selection. Linda Lampenius and Pete Parkkonen have new outfits for their performance. Linda’s outfit is now more translucent, with the corset covered with rehinestone netting and glittering tulle, she will also wear silver boots. Pete is now wearing a translucent silk chiffon shirt and wool satin trousers.
Teemu Muurimäki is the designer behind Linda and Pete’s looks for the competition, having designed them specifically for Eurovision. Pete’s outfit was created by Elviira Medel, while Linda Lampenius’s was created by seamstress Jaana Björklund.
