In Wales, the final of Cân i Gymru 2026 takes place, while in Hungary, A Dal continues with the third Heat.

🇭🇺 Hungary: A Dal 2026 Heat Three – 19:35 CET

A Dal (The Song) continues tonight in Hungary with the final ten artists taking to the stage in Budapest.

The ten acts competing are:

  • BariLaci – “Talán” (Maybe)
  • Roland Bihal – “Köszönd Magadnak” (Thank you)
  • Borostyán – “Nem várok tovább” (I can’t wait any longer)
  • FIRKIN – “Csak annyit mondanék” (I would just say)
  • Márkó Gábor – “Fel kéne nőni” (You should grow up)
  • Kingfishers – “Szórakozni” (To have fun)
  • Babri Nádas – “Ő mondja ki” (She says it)
  • Évi Novák – “Nem tartozom senkinek” (I don’t belong to anyone)
  • Re Va Dame – “Veled álmodtam” (I dreamed of you)
  • Regina Zabos & Káté – “Rád vártam” (I was waiting for you)

In the heats, four jurors will evaluate each of the songs after they have performed, all thirty performers will progress to the semi-finals. In the semi-final, the jury and public can award between 1 and 10 points to each act. The top two with the jury and public will automatically qualify. A third finalist will be the act that receives the most votes from the remaining eight acts that did not qualify.

Four jurors will be helping to determine the winner of this year’s competition. The panel consists of:

  • Trap kapitány – Lead singer of the band Tha Shudras
  • Bebe – Singer and is the lead singer of Melody Maker and was the former lead singer for Back II Back
  • Szandi – Holds the record for the youngest platinum-selling artist in Hungary and has been performing since 1989
  • György Ferenczi – singer and musician known for rock and blues music, and is a recipient of a number of Hungarian music industry awards.

A Dal was previously developed as the Hungarian national selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2012. Since Hungary’s withdrawal from the Eurovision Song Contest, it has been a standalone competition.

Wales – Cân i Gymru 2026 – 21:00 CET

The final of Cân i Gymru 2026 takes place tonight at the Anglesey Showground, returning to Anglesey for the first time in 10 years. Eight artists will be competing in Cân i Gymru 2026; they will all be performing brand new Welsh language songs for audiences across Wales. The winner will be determined entirely by online voting. As ever, there are prizes for the songwriters. 1st prize will receive £5,000, 2nd place will win £3,000 and 3rd will receive £2,000.
