Ahead of their upcoming tour, we had the opportunity to speak with The Roop, who represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2020 and 2021.
We talked with The Roop about what fans can expect from their upcoming shows, the impact Eurovision has had on their lives and the next chapter for The Roop.

The Roop was originally selected to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with “On Fire”, which was one of the favourites to win the contest. After the cancellation of the 2020 contest due to Covid-19, The Roop was selected to represent Lithuania again at Eurovision 2021 with “Discoteque”. They finished eighth in the final, which was Lithuania’s second best result and third top ten finish overall to date.
The Euroope Tour will begin on March 8 in Dublin and will travel to Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Germany. A new date has just been added in Istanbul. Find out more about the tour here:
Lithuania debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994. However, their debut appearance saw Lithuania finish in last place with nul points. Lithuania didn’t return to the contest until 1999 when Aiste finished 20th with the song “Strazdas”. Lithuania’s best result came in 2006 when LT United performed “We Are The Winners”. They finished 6th in the final with a total of 162 points. Lithuania has only finished in the top 10 on two other occasions: in 2016 with “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night” by Donny Montell and in 2021 with “Discoteque” by The Roop.
