The principality of Andorra has confirmed it will not participate in Eurovision 2026, which is due to be held in Austria.

Andorran broadcaster RTVA has confirmed to Eurofestivales that they will not be participating in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. This announcement comes after executives of Catalan network TV3 had travelled to the principality earlier this year to present a project which would have seen Andorra return to the Eurovision Song Contest.

Catalan broadcaster RAC 1 reported that entertainment department executives had traveled to Andorra to discuss the winner of Eufòria representing Andorra at Eurovision 2026. Eufòria is a Catalan music contest organised by TV3 since 2022, in which 16 singers compete for a recording contract.

In a statement received by Eurofestivales, RTVA states they have no plans to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, nor will they collaborate with TV3 for that purpose.

RTVA, the Andorran public broadcaster, has not participated in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2009, having made its debut in 2004. During its debut year in 2004, the Catalan broadcaster TV3 and RTVA collaborated on its selection process.
