ORF has announced that Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz will host FM4’s coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
FM4 the Austrian radio station has announced its plans for coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Jan Böhmermann and Olli Schulz will be live from Basel commentating on the contest for Austrian radio for a third year in a row. Viewers will also be able to follow a video live stream from the Swiss host city.
FM4 has been broadcasting the Eurovision Song Contest for 30 years, with the contest first aired on the station in 1995. Radio coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest returned in Austria in 2022, having last taken place in 2012.
This will be Austria’s 58th appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest. JJ will represent Austria in Basel with “Wasted Love”, he will perform ninth in Semi-Final Two on May 15.

Austria debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1957. Bob Martin represented the country on their debut but finished in the last place scoring just 3 points. Austria has won the contest twice, the first being in 1966 when Udo Jürgens performed “Merci, Cherie”. It was 48 years later when Austria won again when Conchita Wurst performed “Rise Like a Phoenix”, scoring a total of 290 points.
