Qacung Blanchett has today been announced as Alaska’s representative for Pan-ArcticVision 2024 in Nuuk.
Qacung Blanchett will represent Alaska at the second edition of Pan-ArcticVision which will take place in Nuuk, Greenland. Qacung Blanchett is the lead of the Inuit-soul music group Pamyua and has been performing for over 30 years. He is also actively involved in culture and arts, working in his home of Juneau as part of the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council.
The Alaskan representative was chosen following an open call for songs in collaboration with the Anchorage Museum.
Pan-ArcticVision 2024
The Capital of Greenland, Nuuk is set to host the second edition of Pan-ArcticVision on October 12. The aim of Pan-ArcticVision is to unite communities across the Arctic region through music. The competition is open to singers from:

- Faroe Islands – Ester Skála
- Greenland
- Iceland – Vampíra
- Nunavut – Canada – Iva and Angu
- Northern Finland – Talonpoika Lalli
- Northern Norway – Emil Kárlsen

- Russian Arctic Exiles
- Yukon – Canada
