This morning, the official music video for “In The Middle” the Moldovan entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 has been released.
Ahead of the First Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, the official music video for “In The Middle” by Natalia Barbu has been released. The music video is directed by Nicu Chilianu and filmed by Adrian Tincu.
Natalia Barbu will perform “In The Middle” eleventh in the Semi-Final One tomorrow, on May 7.
Who is Natalia Barbu?
Natalia Barbu was born 22 August 1979 in Bălți, Moldova. She has been a singer and songwriter since 2001.
Barbu represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 with the song “Fight“. She qualified from the semi-final on 10 May 2007 and ultimately placing 10th in the final on 12 May 2007, scoring 109 points.

Moldova debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 when the contest was held in Kyiv, Ukraine. That year, Bulgaria also debuted in the contest and Hungary returned after a long absence since 1998. Moldova’s best result in the contest to date was 3rd place in 2017 for Sunstroke Project with “Hey Mamma!”. This was the second time the group had represented their country in Eurovision.
