🇮🇱 Israel Calling to Return in 2024 on April 11

Israel’s Eurovision pre-party concert Israel Calling is set to return on April 11 in 2024 ahead of Eurovision 2024.

During the delayed broadcast of Israel Calling 2023, it was revealed that Israel Calling 2024 will take place on April 11. Israel Calling 2023 took place in Tel Aviv, with over twenty artists. The show was hosted by Dafna Dekel and Sigal Shachmon, who co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 1999 in Jerusalem. Dafna also represented Israel at Eurovision 1992.

The venue for the show was Hangar 11 which was used as the venue for Euroclub when Tel Aviv hosted Eurovision 2019. The event marked 50 years since Israel first participated in Eurovision and 75 years since the State of Israel was established.

Israel Calling was initiated by the Israeli producer Tali Eshkoli. It is a collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Sports, and the Jewish National Fund (KKL – Keren Kayemet LeYisrael).

Israel Calling has taken place since 2016 with the exception of 2019 when Israel was hosting Eurovision 2019, and 2020/21 due to the COVID pandemic.
