ProSieben has today revealed more details regarding the Free European Song Contest including the hosts.
Conchita, winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 and Steven Gätjen will be hosting the Free European Song Contest live from Cologne, Germany on May 16. The competition which is being organised by German broadcaster ProSieben is a replacement to the cancelled Eurovision Song Contest which was due to be held on the same day.

ProSieben revealed more details regarding how the show will work today. The contest will feature performances from artists across Europe live from the studio in Cologne, the winner will be chosen by public televoting.
Stefan Raab will be producing the show through his production company. Stefan is well known for his involvement in the Eurovision Song Contest having represented Germany in 2000. He went on to help pick the 2004 act and in 2010 took over the German selection process which saw Lena win in Oslo. in 2011 he hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Dusseldorf.
In 2005 Stefan created a German alternative to the Eurovision Song Contest, the Bundesvision Song Contest. Broadcaster on ProSieben, the show saw the Federal States of Germany compete against each other in a televised song contest. The competition was last held in 2015.
