Eurovision 2019 Presenters Revealed

The EBU has revealed that Bar Refaeli, Erez Tal, Assi Azar and Lucy Ayoub will be the presenters of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv.

Bar Refaeli is an international supermodel and one of the first Israeli models to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Bar has a wealth of experience in presenting and broadcasting, having created her own model casting show Million Dollar Shooting Star for German television in 2012. Bar has also presented several prime time shows, such as every season of The X Factor Israel since it began in 2013.

Erez Tal has 25 years of broadcasting experience. He has developed, produced and hosted a number of prime-time hits, including hosting 10 seasons of “Big Brother Israel”. Erez is also known for creating and hosting the game show “The Vault” which has sold to 23 territories worldwide, making it the most successful Israeli game-show format in the world. Erez also was the Israeli commentator for Eurovision 2018, which made him the first person to provide Eurovision commentary for Israel since 1995.

Assi Azar is one of Israel’s top television hosts and screenwriters. He hosted six seasons of “Big Brother Israel” alongside Erez Tal and has hosted every season of HaKohav HaBa, the Israeli national selection In 2009, Assi was listed among OUT Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Gay People in the world.

Lucy Ayoub is Israel’s most promising rising star who found fame through quickly earning a name for herself as a YouTube personality. She has grown to become a well-known TV host and was selected to be the Israeli spokesperson in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

Tel Aviv will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in the Expo Tel Aviv (International Convention Centre) on May 14, 16 and 18 2019. Tickets for the contest will be available at the end of January. While Tel Aviv has never hosted the Eurovision Song Contest, the “Israel Calling” Party has been held in the city since 2016. Acts from 25 participating countries took part in this year’s event.
