Tonight, ten more songs competed in the second and last semi-final of Eesti Laul 2017. Of this ten, five acts have qualified for the grand final, meaning that we now have the full lineup for the grand final to take place in two weeks time.
Tonight’s qualifiers were chosen by a two-round voting system which has been implemented this year. The first four qualifiers were determined by a 50-50 split between a public and jury vote. After these four winners were announced, a separate vote opened to decide which of the six remaining acts would make it through to the final. This 5th qualifier was chosen by a purely public vote with no jury input. Tonight’s ten participants were:

- Liis Lemsalu – “Keep Running” [Qualified]
- Close To Infinity feat. Ian Karell – “Sounds Like Home”

- Almost Natural – “Electric”
- Rasmus Rändvee – “This Love” – [Qualified]
- Alvistar Funk Association – “Make Love, Not War”
- Angeelia – “We Ride With Our Flow”
And so, the full lineup of this year’s Eesti Laul final is:

- Elina Born – “In or Out”
- Ivo Linna – “Suur loterii”
- Karl-Kristjan & Whogaux feat. Maian – “Have You Now”

- Liis Lemsalu – “Keep Running”
- Rasmus Rändvee – “This Love”
These ten songs will compete in Tallinn’s Saku Arena on 4th March. The winner will represent Estonia in the 2nd half of the 2nd semi-final in Kyiv on 11th May, and will hope to take Estonia back to the grand final of the Eurovision Song Contest after Jüri Pootsmann’s “Play” finished last in its semi-final in Stockholm. Out of these ten acts, five have participated in a past Eurovision. Four have represented Estonia – Ivo Linna (1996), Koit Toome (1998), Laura (2005 as part of Suntribe) and Elina Born (2015) – meanwhile Lenna Kuurmaa represented Switzerland as part of Vanilla Ninja in 2005.
