Austria To Hold National Selection In 2016

ORF will be holding a televised national selection to select their participant for Eurovision 2016.

The format of the selection for 2016 is being worked upon. The 2015 selection process “Wer singt für Österreich” saw a total of four shows to decide who would represent them on home soil in Vienna. Austria returned to using a televised selection process in 2015 after internally selecting Conchita Wurst for Eurovision 2014.

Austria finished in 26th place in the final of Eurovision 2015 with 0 points.
