TRM of Moldova have revealed that the final of their Eurovision selection process will be held on March 15th.
A total of 24 acts will make it to the Moldovan selection semi finals on March 11th and 13th. In each semi final 8 acts will make it to the final, the first 7 qualifiers will be chosen by a jury and televote combination, while the 8th act will be saved by the televote.
Those wishing to take part in the Moldovan selection have until January 23rd to submit their songs to TRM at the following address:
Chisinau Street Ewe 1, 7th floor
Applicants are allowed to submit more than one song, the rules are the same as Eurovision meaning no more than 6 people in a group and the song cannot be longer than 3 minutes. Applicants must however be Moldovan citizens but can work with foreign composers or lyricists.
All applicants will be listened to by a jury, who will select 60 to go to the live auditions. The jury will be looking at the melody and composition, voice, and manner of performance, originality of the piece.
