
Tonight five countries will be selecting their participant for the 61st Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, Sweden while a further two will be holding selection rounds as we get ever closer to the contest in May.
The Finals:
Moldova – O Melodie Pentru Europa – Final – 18:40 CET:

Moldova tonight selects their participant for Stockholm with 16 singers in the running to make it all the way to Eurovision.
Two semi finals have been held this week to select the final 16 artists who are all vying to represent Moldova in Stockholm, Sweden. The final tonight is hosted by Sergiu Beznițchi and Olivia Furtună and will feature special performances from Pasha Parfeny (Eurovision 2012) as well as the dance group Space.
The winner tonight will selected by 50% televote and 50% jury voting. The running order for the show is as follows:

Hungary – A Dal 2016 – Final – 19:40 CET:

After five weeks of shows tonight is the final of A Dal 2016 with just eight singers left in the running.
Hungary has held three heats and two semi finals to reach the final tonight where eight singers are all hoping it will be them taking to the stage this May in Stockholm. The winner of the selection tonight is selected through two rounds of voting. In the first round the jury will be deciding the four songs make it through to the second round. the points are announced by the jurors after all the performers have taken to the stage, they can award 4, 6, 8 and 10 points. In the second round the winner is selected by public voting via televote, online voting and app voting.

Finland – UMK – Final – 20:00 CET:

UMK rolls to its conclusion tonight in Finland as the country selects their participant for Eurovision 2016.
Nine singers have made it through to the final tonight after three weeks of semi finals. The selection tonight is hosted by Krista Siegfrids (Eurovision 2013 participant) and Roope Salminen. The winner of the selection tonight is selected by 50% jury vote and 50% public vote. The jury groups for tonight are as follows:

Slovenia – EMA – Final – 20:00 CET:

Tonight Slovenia holds EMA 2016 as they select the artist who will represent them in Stockholm this May.
The selection tonight will see 10 singers competing for the ticket to Eurovision 2016, the show is hosted by Klemen Slakonja. Also performing during the selection tonight are Maraaya who represented Slovenia in Vienna and Lina Kuduzović who came 3rd in Junior Eurovision 2015 for Slovenia.
The selection is held in two rounds tonight, the first round will see the jury selecting two songs to go through to the super final. In the super final the public will then select the act representing them at Eurovision 2016. The running order is as follows:

Norway – Melodi Grand Prix 2016 – Final – 20:55 CET:

Live from the Oslo Spektrum Melodi Grand Prix 2016 will select the artist who will be travelling across the border to Stockholm in May.
The final tonight sees 10 artists competing for the public’s votes all vying to represent Norway in May. The selection as ever takes place in two rounds, in the first round the public will select four singers to compete in the “Gold Final”. The “Gold Final” then sees the public vote again, the vote is broken down into five regions with the voting announced from lowest televote to highest televote.

Sweden – Melodifestivalen – Semi Final 4 – 20:00 CET:

Tonight Melodifestivalen makes it way to Gävle as the final semi final is held.
This week Gina Dirawi is joined by Sarah Dawn Finer as host of the show. The show tonight will also see guest appearances from Jon Henrik Fjällgren and Helena Bergström. As ever the two most popular songs will go direct to the Friends Arena final, while the songs that place 3rd and 4th will have to go into Andra Chansen which takes place next week.
