The United Kingdom have selected Joe and Jake to represent them at the 61st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Joe and Jake will be performing “You’re Not Alone” in Stockholm this May after beating competition from five other singers in the selection tonight in London. The final tonight was the first televised selection that the United Kingdom has held since 2010. The winner was selected by 100% public voting via televote and online voting. A panel advised the public through the show this is made up of Eurovision 1997 winner Katrina, Eurovision 1983 participant Carrie Grant and staging director Jay Revell.
Competing tonight were:
- Joe & Jake – You’re Not Alone – Winner
- Bianca – Shine A Little Light
- Dulcima – When You Go
- Matthew James – A Better Man
- Darline – Until Tomorrow
- Karl William Lund – Miracle
