The Children’s Camp ‘One Land’ in Bukovel will play host to the Ukrainian national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Suspilne has announced that the Star School for its selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is set to travel to the Carpathian Mountains, with the Children’s Camp ‘One Land’ in Bukovel, the venue for the contest. Star School will see 10 singers develop their creative abilities, improve their vocal skills, choreography and acting, and will be used to select the six finalists in the Ukrainian selection.

Oksana Skybinska, the Head of Delegation for Ukraine, commented:

“Since the “Star School” takes place in the summer, we want children to get maximum joy and pleasure from it. It is important for us that participants are safe during classes, so this year we chose the Carpathians. We hope that in the conditions of the star camp, children will be able to fully enjoy creativity, interesting master classes and acquaintance with industry specialists. We are grateful to “One Land” for cooperation in the organisation”

One Land Director Ruslan Tkachenko added:

“When you work with children every day, you begin to understand even more how important it is to support their dreams. That is why it was a natural decision for us to become the general partner of the National Selection for Junior Eurovision 2026.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to show their talent, and our task is to create conditions in which these talents can be revealed. For the One Land children’s camp, it is a great honor to be part of a project that inspires children and opens up new opportunities for them.”

The application window for the Ukrainian selection for Junior Eurovision 2026 is currently open and will close on July 8. A longlist of up to 15 acts will be chosen by July 29, with ten singers selected for Star School following an auditions process.

The final of the Ukrainian selection for Junior Eurovision 2026 will be held in September. A combination of a professional jury (50%) and public voting (50%) will select the Ukrainian representative for Ta’ Qali.

Sofia Neresesian represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with “Motanka”. She won the public vote and finished second overall with 177 points. This was Ukraine’s best result at Junior Eurovision since 2013.
