Marte Stokstad is set to commentate on her sixth Eurovision Song Contest as NRK confirms her role for Vienna.
Television presenter Marte Stokstad has been confirmed as the Norwegian commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. Marte has a long history with the contest having hosted Melodi Grand Prix in 2010 and 2012, and then the preview shows Adresse since 2018.
Eurovision 2026 will be the sixth time that Marte has guided viewers in Norway through the Eurovision Song Contest. She was due to take over from Olav Viksmo-Slettan in 2020, however, the contest was cancelled due to COVID-19, eventually taking up the role for Rotterdam the following year. The contest will air live on NRK1.
Jonas Lovv was selected to represent Norway after winning Melodi Grand Prix. The song that Jonas Lovv will perform in Vienna was written by Jonas himself and composed by Sondre Skaftun. Jonas Lovv will close the second semi-final, on May 14. Find out more about Jonas below:

Norway debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and have won the contest three times โ in 1985, 1995 and 2009. The country has the dubious record of finishing last the most times, twelve in total, and have received nul points four times. Norway last won the contest in 2009 when Alexander Rybak broke all records with his song โFairytaleโ. He scored 387 points in the final, receiving 16 sets of 12 points and scoring points from every country.
