NRK P1 Radio announced that it will broadcast Eurovision 2026, with Jonas Bergløv and Jon Marius Hyttebakk will commentate on the contest.
It has been confirmed that the radio duo of Jonas Bergløv and Jon Marius Hyttebakk will provide commentary for Norwegian viewers on May 16, 2026. Jonas Sebastian Gjestad Bergløv is a Norwegian radio presenter and has previously worked in P4, P5 and NRJ. Since 2025, he has been the host of the P3morgen show on the NRK P3 radio. His radio partner, Jon Marius Hyttebakk, is an experienced TV host who will commentate on the final for a fifth time, having first commentated on the contest in 2022.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be broadcast on television by NRK.
Jonas Lovv was selected to represent Norway at Eurovision Song Contest 2026 after winning Melodi Grand Prix. He will compete with the song “Ya ya ya” in the second semi-final, on May 14.

Norway debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and have won the contest three times – in 1985, 1995 and 2009. The country has the dubious record of finishing last the most times, twelve in total, and have received nul points four times. Norway last won the contest in 2009 when Alexander Rybak broke all records with his song “Fairytale”. He scored 387 points in the final, receiving 16 sets of 12 points and scoring points from every country.
