Antigoni held a meet and greet today in Larnaca with hundreds turning up to meet the Cypriot representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
The Cypriot representative Antigoni held a meet and greet today at the Metropolis Mall in Larnaca, with hundreds of people turning up to meet the singer. As part of the meet and greet she performed her song “Jalla” to a packed audience, who were getting their chance to meet the singer ahead of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Reacting on social media after the Meet and Greet, Antigoni expressed her shock and thanks at the number of people that turned up to meet her; “I’m just so grateful Cyprus, thank you for the support”.
Antigoni was internally selected to represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. She was the first artist to be revealed for this year’s contest. She will perform “Jalla” in Vienna and will perform in the second half of the second semi-final on May 14. Find out more about Antigoni below:

Cyprus debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981. Their best result was in 2018, when Eleni Foureira and the song “Fuego” finished second with 436 points. Before then, their best results in the contest came in the form of three fifth-place finishes. These fifth-place finishes were Anna Vissi with “Mono i agapi” in 1982, Hara & Andreas Constantinou with “Mana mou” in 1997 and Lisa Andreas with “Stronger Every Minute” in 2004. Cyprus currently holds the record for the most participations in Eurovision without a win.
