The Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2026 has commenced with the first night of performances across the two contests having taken place.
Spain’s Antoñito Molina and Argentina’s Campedrinos are leading the International and Folklore contests, respectively, after the first three performances in each competition. Antoñito Molina topped the scores in the International Contest with an average score of 6.1, while Campedrinos are leading the Folklore contest with an average score of 6.3.

Folklore Contest
- Ecuador – Brenda – “Capullito” – 5.9 points
- Argentina – Campedrinos – “La Zamba” – 6.3 points
- Spain – María Peláe – “Que Vengan a Por Mi” – 6.1 points
International Contest
- México – Trex – “La Ruta Correcta” – 5.4 points
- Spain – Antoñito Molina – “Me Prometo” – 6.1 points
- Chile – Sondelvalle – “El Ciclo” – 5.8 points
Night two takes place today, with the remaining three acts in each competition taking to the stage for their first performance. They are:

International Contest
