Quinn Christopherson has been announced as representing Alaska at Pan-ArcticVision 2025 in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
Singer-songwriter Quinn Christopherson has been revealed as the Alaskan representative for the third edition of Pan-ArcticVision. Quinn is best known as the winner of NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2020, and has since gone on to release an album. Quinn is of Ahtna and Inupiaq heritage, blending the sound of Anchorage with their heritage.
Quinn is the third representative from Alaska to compete in Pan-ArcticVision. At the 2024 competition in Nuuk, Greenland, Qacung Blanchett performed “Ulaa”.
Pan-ArcticVision 2025
The third edition of Pan-ArcticVision will be held on November 29 in Iqaluit, Nunavut. To date, two acts have been announced for the competition:
- Alaska – Quinn Christopherson
- Iceland – Geðbrigði
- Nunavut – Shauna Seeteenak
Pan-ArcticVision is loosely based on the Eurovision Song Contest and was first held in 2023. The contest aims to bring together the peoples of the Arctic. All of the artists competing in the contest were chosen by cultural organisations across the Arctic.
Three categories are awarded prizes in each edition:
- The most Arctic song
- The song that gives the most feeling of community and togetherness
- The most revolutionary song
