Eurovision 2017 winner Salvador Sobral has performed this year’s Portuguese entry in Uzbekistan.
Salvador Sobral, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, has performed the Portuguese entry for Eurovision 2025, “Deslocado” on the streets of Uzbekistan. The singer is currently on tour in the country, performing in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, at the start of this month.
Salvador won the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 for Portugal with “Amar Pelos Dois”, becoming the first Portuguese winner of the competition. He received 18 sets of 12 points from the national juries and 12 sets of 12 points from the televote.
NAPA will perform seventh in the first semi-final, on May 13. NAPA is a band founded in Madeira, Portugal, in 2013, under the original name of “Men on the couch”. The current line-up consists of Guilherme Gomes, Lourenço Gomes, Francisco Sousa, Diogo Góis, and João Rodrigues. Find out more below:

Portugal debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1964 represented by António Calvário. The country finished last scoring nul points. Before 2017, the best result of Portugal was 6th place which came in 1996 when Lúcia Moniz performed in Oslo. She scored 92 points, receiving 12 points from both Norway and Cyprus. In 2017, Portugal produced a spectacular win when Salvador Sobral took home the crystal microphone with his song “Amar pelos dois”. The 2018 contest was held in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon for the first time.
