🇱🇹 Lithuania: Eurovizija.LT 2025 Semi-Final Five Results

Two artists have qualified from the fifth Semi-Final of Eurovizija.LT 2025, Lithuania’s Eurovision selection show.

This evening, Lithuania continued its selection for the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest with the fifth heat of Eurovizija.LT. The show was filmed in the LRT Studios in Vilnius and hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian, Rimvydas Černiauskas, and Nombeko Augustė. Nine artists participated in the competition this evening, with two qualifying for the final.

Tonight’s results were as follows (jury + public vote):

  1. Tomas Alenčikas – “Drobė” – 12 + 12 (1,993 votes) – 24 points – Finalist
  2. Sophie Ali – “The Bluest Bell” – 8 + 10 (1,271 votes) – 18 points – Finalist
  3. Matas Ligeika – “Saule” – 10 + 7 (470 votes) – 17 points
  4. Ieva Zasimnauskaitė – “Don’t You Ever Leave Me” – 7 + 8 (635 votes) – 15 points
  5. Donata – “Empower” – 6 + 5 (283 votes) – 11 points
  6. Matt Len – “Not Alone” – 5 + 6 (290 votes) – 11 points
  7. Ofelija – “Širdelė” – 4 + 3 (121 votes) – 7 points
  8. Sun Francisco – “Atsimerkt” – 3 + 4 (125 votes) – 7 points
  9. Justinas – “Alright” – 2 + 2 (103 votes) – 4 points

The qualifiers were determined by 50% public voting and 50% jury voting. On the jury was:

  • Darius Užkuraitis – Musicologist & founder of LRT Opus
  • Monika Liu – Represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2022
  • Vytautas Bikus – Composer
  • Kamilė Gudmonaitė – Member of Kamanių šilelis
  • Kristupas Naraškevičius – Presenter

The Grand Final of Eurovizija.LT is set for 15 February and will take place at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. A total of ten acts will perform. The winner of the competition will go on to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.

Silvester Belt won the last edition of Eurovizija.LT and represented Lithuania at Eurovision 2024 with “Luktelk”. He finished 14th in the Grand Final scoring 90 points. Lithuania’s largest points total came in the form of 8 points from the public in the United Kingdom and Latvia.

Lithuania debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, however on their debut they finished in last place with nul points. Lithuania didn’t return to the contest until 1999 when Aiste finished 20th with the song “Strazdas”. Lithuania’s best result came in 2006 when LT United performed “We Are The Winners”. They finished 6th in the final with a total of 162 points. Lithuania has only finished in the top 10 on two other occasions; in 2016 with “I’ve Been Waiting For This Night” by Donny Montell and in 2021 with “Discoteque” by The Roop.
