TV3 is reported to be in talks with Andorra regarding potential collaboration on a return to Eurovision in 2026.
RAC 1 reports that entertainment department executives have traveled to Andorra to discuss the winner of Eufòria representing Andorra at Eurovision 2026. Eufòria is a Catalan music contest organised TV3 since 2022, in which 16 singers compete for a recording contract.
RTVA the Andorran public broadcaster has not participated in the Eurovision Song Contest since 2009, having made its debut in 2004. During its debut year in 2004, the Catalan broadcaster TV3 and RTVA collaborated on its selection process.
Catalonia has tried to gain full membership of the EBU, as the region looked at routes to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest. The Catalan broadcaster applied for membership in April 2019 but was declined in July 2019, with the EBU stating:
“The EBU does not have, nor has it ever had, any regional station of a member state of the International Telecommunication Union or the Council of Europe as an independent member. EBU statutes do not offer this possibility.”
Neither RTVA nor the Catalan broadcaster TV3 have commented on the reports from RAC 1.

Andorra made their debut appearance in 2004 and competed annually until the 2009 contest in Moscow. Andorra failed to qualify for the Grand Final at every contest they competed in. The nation’s best result came in 2007 when Anonymous finished 12th in the Semi-Final with “Salvem el món”, they were 11 points from a place in the final.
