Melody has won Benidorm Fest 2025 and will represent Spain at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with “Esa diva”.
The final of Benidorm Fest 2025 took place tonight at the Palau d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm. The show was hosted by Paula Vázquez, Ruth Lorenzo, and Inés Hernand. Last year’s winners, Nebulossa, returned as an interval act, joined by Benidorm Fest alumni Rigoberta Bandini and rock duo Amaral.
This year, the winner was determined by a 50/50 voting system split between a professional jury and the public. The full results were as follows (Jury + Public = Total):
- Daniela Blasco – “U Na Na” (71 + 70 pts = 141 pts)- 2nd
- Kuve – “Loca xti” (52 + 44 = 96 pts) – 6th
- Mawot – “Raggio di sole” (18 + 40 = 58 pts)- 8th
- Lachispa – “Hartita de llorar” (48 + 50 = 98 pts) – 5th
- Mel Ömana – “I’m a Queen” (61 + 56 = 117 pts) – 4th
- J Kbello – “VIP” (74 + 60 = 134 pts) – 3rd
- Lucas Bun – “Te escribo en el cielo” (38 + 32 = 70 pts) – 7th
- Melody – “Esa diva” (70 + 80 = 150 pts) – 1st
Spain will compete in the Grand Final of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest on May 17th.
Melody will represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. Last year, Nebulossa represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with “Zorra”. The duo placed 22nd, scoring 30 points.

Spain debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has competed annually since, making them the longest participating country that has never withdrawn. Spain has won the contest on two occasions; the first being in 1968 and the second time in 1969. 1969 is the only year where more than one song has won the contest. The 1969 contest saw a four-way tie between Spain, France, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
