The eleven artists participating in the ABU TV Song Festival 2024 have arrived in the host city of Istanbul.
The artists taking part in the 12th edition of the ABU TV Song Festival in Turkey have arrived ahead of this Sunday’s show. Eleven artists have traveled to Turkey’s largest city with rehearsals for the event starting this evening.
The Malaysian representative Khai Bahar arrived in Istanbul yesterday evening. The singer who is followed by over 2 million people on Instagram has been performing since 2016. He is one of the biggest male artists in Malaysia and has won multiple awards.
The Indonesian representative Silet Open Up was among the artists who arrived in Istanbul today:
Yoko Takahashi who will represent Japan is best known for performing her music which has featured in anime. She is widely expected to perform a song from the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The 13th edition of the ABU TV Song Festival will take place on October 20 in Istanbul, Türkiye hosted by the Turkish public broadcaster TRT. This will be the second time that Istanbul has hosted the event, the first time being in 2015.

Turkmenistan (TVTM) – Shatlyk Gurbannazarov
Uzbekistan (MRTK) – Bek milliy sozlar ansambli
The festival is set to be held at the Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center in the Anadolu Auditorium. Up to 2,000 guests will be able to watch the contest live.
TRT Müzik will air the show live from 19:00 CEST.
