Ramires Sciberras has won the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 and will represent Malta at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid with the song “Stilla Ċkejkna”.

The Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 took place tonight in the TVM Studios in Tal-Pietà. The show was hosted by Melanie Kelly. Alongside the competing performances, there were also guest performances from Chanel Monseigneur (Junior Eurovision 2020), Gaia Gambuzza (Junior Eurovision 2022) and Yulan Law (Junior Eurovision 2023).
The winner of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be selected by a professional jury (80%) and public voting (20%). Only the top three were announced.
The results were as follows:

- Eleny Incorvaja Scerri – “Guiding Light”
- Emma Farrugia – “Summertime” 3rd
- GRRLZ – “Grrlz” 2nd
- Ilona – “Zip It Up”
- Anneka Xerri – “Trying to Be Me (Ħeqq Le)” (Right no)
- Kayleen – “Lalala”
- Ramires Sciberras – “Stilla Ċkejkna” (Little star) 1st
- Maria Curmi – “Għawdex” (Gozo)
- Keira (Keira Farrugia) – “Kif Jien” (How I am)
- Chanel – “I’ll Be Alright”
- Thomas Casha – “A Little Bit Longer”
- Daylin Cassar Randich – “Bonafide”
Yulan Law represented Malta at Junior Eurovision 2023 with “Stronger”. She finished 10th with 94 points, receiving 12 points from the Armenian jury.

Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Malta debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and has gone on to win the contest twice. In 2013 on their return to the competition in Kyiv, Gaia Cauchi won the competition with “The Start”. She was the first winner of a Eurovision event for Malta. In 2015, Destiny Chukunyere took victory in Sofia, Bulgaria with the song “Not My Soul”. Malta finished last at the 2005 contest in Belgium, 2019 edition in Poland and the 2022 edition in Armenia. Malta joins North Macedonia as the Junior Eurovision country with the most last-place finishes, finishing last three times
