Tonight Festivali i Këngës continues in Albania, while in Ukraine voting closes for the wildcard round of Vidbir 2024.

The key times for today are:

  • 🇺🇦 Ukraine – Vidbir 2024 – Wildcard finalist voting closes – 09:00 CET
  • 🇦🇱 Albania – Festivali i Këngës 62 – Night Three – 21:00 CET

This morning voting will close in the wildcard round of the Ukrainian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

A total of nine artists who were not originally selected for the final of Vidbir 2024 are competing for a wildcard. The wildcard will be chosen by public voting through the Diya app. As of last night, over 290,000 votes had been cast since voting commenced last week.

The nine artists competing for the wildcard are:

  • ANKA – “Palala” (Burned)
  • Carpetman – “Endless fight”
  • KARYOTYPE – “Sadness”
  • KRYLATA – “Queen”
  • PARFENIUK – “Sered vitriv” (Among the winds)
  • SHÉPA – “SUPERNOVA”
  • STASYA – “Rika” (River)
  • SWOIIA – “Little Angels”
  • TESLENKO – “Lights go up”

The results will be revealed no later than December 29. The winner of the wildcard vote will compete in the final of Vidbir 2024 alongside the ten previously selected finalists:

  • alyona alyona & Jerry Heil – “Teresa & Maria”
  • Drevo – “Endless chain”
  • INGRET – “Keeper”
  • MÉLOVIN – “DREAMER”
  • NAHABA – “GLASSS”
  • NAZVA – “Slavic English”

  • YAKTAK — “Lalala”
  • Ziferblat — “Place I Call Home”

With all the songs competing in Festivali i Këngës 62 having been revealed to the public on nights one and two, tonight the artists will be performing as part of ‘Nostalgia Night’.

The artists will be performing songs that have made history at Festivali i Këngës and the Eurovision Song Contest. As part of the show this evening a number of well known Albanian performers will be taking to the stage they include:

  • Eugent Bushpepa – Represented Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon
  • Irma & Eranda Libohova
  • Aurela Gaçe – Winner of Festivali i Këngës in 1999, 2001 and 2010, representing her country at Eurovision 2011
  • Jehona Sopi
  • Eneda Tarifa – Represented Albania at Eurovision 2016
