Today Ukraine will select their entry for the Junior Eurovision 2023, while Ireland and Luxembourg are also in action.

🇺🇦 Ukraine – Junior Eurovision 2023 – National Final – 17:00 CEST

Five acts are competing this evening to be named the Ukrainian entry for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Nice, France. The final of the Ukrainian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 will take place at 17:00 CEST. The show will be presented by Timur Miroshnychenko and Anna Tulieva.
The running order is as follows:
- POLINA BABIY – “Universe”
- Anastasia Dymyd – “Kvitka” (Flower)
- Anastasia Bielibova – “Syl’na” (Strong)
- Denis Hryshchuk – “Dance”
- 3’beauties – “Power of Love”
The winner is being determined by 50% public voting and 50% jury voting. Public voting opened on September 29 at 10:00 local time and will close at 10:00 local time today, it will then re-open during the show. The jury is formed of:
- Ihor Kondratyuk: TV presenter and producer. Co-writer of the shows Karaoke on the Square, Chance, and judge on Ukraine’s Got Talent and X-Factor.
- Jerry Heil: singer and songwriter. Laureate of the Music Moves Europe Awards.
- Alyona Alyona: rapper, composer. Included in the European Forbes 30 under 30 list in 2020.
The show will be broadcast live on Suspilne Kultura, the Suspilne Kultura website, junior.eurovision.ua and the official Ukrainian Eurovision Facebook and YouTube accounts.
🇮🇪 Ireland – Junior Eurovision Éire 2023 – Semi-Final – 21:30 CEST

The Semi-Final of the Irish selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 takes place this evening.
Eight young performers will be competing for a place in the Grand Final, and to get one step closer to representing Ireland in Nice, France. Tonight the three-person jury will score each of the acts, they will choose two acts to go directly to the final, while two will go through to the Sing-off where one will be chosen as the third finalist.
Competing in the Semi-Final this evening are:

- Ellen McGloughlin
- Niamh Beatrix Smith
- Sarah Burke
- Juliette Maguire
For the second year in a row, a public vote will decide the winner in the final. The voting will be open after the semi-final is over. After the winner is chosen, the Irish entry for Nice will be specially composed for the winner.

🇱🇺 Luxembourg – Eurovision 2024 National Final – Submission Deadline

Today is the last day that songs can be submitted to represent Luxembourg on its return to the Eurovision Song Contest.
Today is the deadline for songwriters with a song, and singers with a song to apply for the national selection. The rules confirm that applicants must be at least 16 years old on 27 January 2024, be available and flexible between November 2023 and May 2024, and be able to sing live and be comfortable on a large stage.
Singers must hold Luxembourgish nationality to compete, or have resided in Luxembourg for at least three consecutive years. However, exceptions can be made for artists who can demonstrate a proven artistic connection with Luxembourg’s music and culture, which will be reviewed on several criteria.
There is no requirement for songs to be in the Luxembourgish language, or their other national languages, French and German. Submissions can be made through eurovision.lu.
The selection will be held on Saturday 27 January at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette.
