Finland, Sweden and Belgium are all in action today as the Eurovision 2023 selection season continues.
The key times for today are:

🇫🇮 Finland – Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2023 – Participants revealed – 05:00 CET
Finland will reveal the seven participants in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2023 this morning.
YLE will reveal the seven artists competing to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. Earlier, according to rumours the participation of Robin Packalen, Portion Boys and Lxandra among others is to be expected. The competing songs will be released on separate days from January 12 to 20.
Ahead of the reveal today YLE has released three hints about each of the participants:
Participant One – Hints:
- The youngest participant of UMK
- Participated in a reality show
- The song is danceable.
Participant Two – Hints:
- Started their career at a young age
- Is able to stir emotions
- Has something in common with UMK 2023 host Samu Haber
Participant Three – Hints:
- Veteran of the competition
- Returns to the UMK stage
- Iconic, but not Danny
Participant Four – Hints:
- United States
- International Artist
- In the end credits of a Movie
Participant Five – Hints:

The running order for Melodifestivalen 2023 will be released today at 12:00 CET. The order will be discussed by Farah Abadi and contest producer Karin Gunnarsson on SVT Play. The twenty-eight artists participating in the Swedish selection for Eurovision 2023 are:

Melodifestivalen 2023 will take place across six cities in Sweden. The dates and host cities for the shows are:
- Heat 1: February 4 – Gothenburg
- Heat 2: Feburary 11 – Linköping
- Heat 3: Feburary 18 – Lidköping
- Heat 4: February 25 – Malmö
- Semi-Final: March 4 – Örnsköldsvik
- Final: March 11 – Stockholm
Belgium – Eurosong 2023 – Show Three – Hunter Falls & Ameerah – 19:45 CET

The Belgian selection for Eurovision 2023 continues tonight, with the third of five song selection shows ahead of the final on January 14.
In these programmes broadcast nightly between January 9 and 13 at 19:45 CET, each artist will present their two potential entries in full in front of the other artists from a remote location in Tournai in western Belgium. The artist will then choose which one of their two entries they will perform in the final on January 14.
Hunter Falls will be performing the second of his two songs, “Home” to select his entry for the final. Ameerah will perform both of her songs; “The Carnival” and “Armageddon”, tonight and will choose which one she will perform in the final. You can watch the show live here.
