Joker Out have finished recording the song that they will perform for Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
The Slovenian representatives Joker Out have finished recording their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The band recorded their song for the competition in Hamburg just a couple of weeks after being formally announced as the Slovenian representatives.
Recording of their song took place at the Clouds Hill Studios in Germany, working with Mark Pirc, Zarko Pak and Todd Burke. The band already confirmed that they will be performing in Slovenian on stage in Liverpool.
Joker Out is a pop-rock group founded in 2016 and is formed of Bojan Cvjetićanin, Kris Guštin, Jan Peteh, Jure Maček and Nace Jordan. They are only the second Slovenian representative at Eurovision to be internally selected by RTVSLO to compete in the contest.
LPS represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin with “Disko” and finished last in their Semi-Final. LPS scored a total of 15 points of which 8 points came from the Croatian televote.

Slovenia was one of three countries to join the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993. The country qualified through a specially organised selection round called “Kvalifikacija za Millstreet” which was hosted in Slovenia, seven countries competed for three spots in Eurovision 1993. The country has participated in 22 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest. Their best result came in 1995 when Darja Švajger finished 7th scoring a total of 84 points, she is closely followed by Nuša Derenda who finished 7th in the 2001 contest with 70 points.
