Suspilne has opened voting for the public to select the Ukrainian jury for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
Voting has opened today to determine the five members of the Ukrainian jury for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The Ukrainian public from today until November 2 can vote to select the three adults and two children that will vote on this year’s contest in Yerevan, Armenia. Voters must verify themselves using a Facebook or Gmail account, you can vote here.
The candidates for the Ukrainian jury are:

- Maksym Nagornyak
- Tatyana Piskaryova
- Sofia Rol – Represented Ukraine at Junior Eurovision 2016
- Svetlana Tarabarova
Children
- DJ Polinka
- Sofia Artemenko
- Anastasia Doroshenko
- Elizaveta Petruk
- Daria Rebrova
- Diana Stasiuk
Based on the results of the vote, the five potential jurors that receive the most votes will be asked to sign to be part of the jury. In the event that a juror is unable to sign the agreement to be on the jury, the juror with the next highest number of votes will be offered the place on the jury.
This is the first time that the public of any country competing in a Eurovision event has been asked to vote on the formation of their jury.

Ukraine debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has competed in the contest ever since. To date, Ukraine has only won the competition once. In 2012 Anastasiya Petryk won in Amsterdam with the song “Nebo”, she scored 138 points including eight sets of 12 points. Ukraine has hosted the contest twice, the first time being in 2009 and the second being in 2013 following their victory in Amsterdam.
