Ukraine will take part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Yerevan.
UA:PBC, the Ukrainian national broadcaster, confirmed their participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 on the official UA:PBC Eurovision social media accounts. The rules for the national final will be revealed soon and the submission window for entries will also be opened soon. Applicants are encouraged to prepare original songs to be ready for the submission window.
Olena Usenko represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with โVazhilโ. She finished in 6th place with 125 points, which included 12 points from the Bulgarian and Spanish juries.
Junior Eurovision 2022
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 will take place in Yerevan in Armenia, following the countryโs victory at the 2021 contest in Paris. This is the second time Armenia has won the contest, the first being in 2010. To date, the following countries have confirmed participation or expressed their interest:

Ukraine in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Ukraine debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 and has competed in the contest ever since. To date, Ukraine has only won the competition once. In 2012 Anastasiya Petryk won in Amsterdam with the song โNeboโ, she scored 138 points including eight sets of 12 points. Ukraine has hosted the contest twice, the first time being in 2009 and the second being in 2013 following their victory in Amsterdam.
