Jura who were due to compete in Liet International 2022 has been replaced by Sofi and the Baladis for next month’s contest.
Jura who had been due to compete in Liet International 2022 in Tondern/Tønder, Denmark, has been replaced by Sofi and the Baladis. Jura who are from Russia had been due to compete with “Takhetle konem” in the Tatar language but have had to pull out of the competition due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Taking Jura’s place in the competition are Sofi and the Baladis with the song “Rebutalla” which is performed in Hebrew. This is the first time that an Israeli act will be competing in Liet International. The full line-up of Liet International 2022 is:

- Israel – Sofi and the Baladis – Rebutalla (Hebrew)
- Italy – Emanuele Pintus – Genia (Sardinian)
- Italy – Jimi Henndreck – Heihupfa (Südtirolian)
- Spain – Carolina Rubirosa – O teu camiñar (Galicia)
- Spain – Roger Argemí – La contradicció (Catalan)
- The Netherlands – Adri de Boer – Bliuw mar by my (Frisian)
- United Kingdom – Brother Sea – Trodhydhyek (Cornish)
The contest is set to be held on 13 May 2022 at the Schweizerhalle. This will be the 13th edition of the contest which was held for the first time in 2002. The winner of Liet 2022 will win 3,000 Euro, with the song with the best song winning 500 Euro. These are all chosen by an expert jury.
