Mr. Lordi is set to be a member of the International Jury for the final of Eesti Laul 2022 on February 12.
ERR has announced that Mr. Lordi is one of the members of the International Jury that will vote in this Saturday’s Eesti Laul final. Mr. Lordi is the frontman of Lordi who won the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 for Finland. “Hard Rock Hallelujah” at the time became the highest scoring Eurovision entry in the history of the competition.
The International Jury will have a 50% say in the results during the first round of the final. In round one the jury and viewers will vote, with the three highest-scoring acts progressing to the super final. In the super final the winner will be determined by the public vote only.
The final of Eesti Laul 2022 will take place on February 12. The full running order is as follows:

A number of guests have already been announced for the final. Annely Peebo and Marko Matvere, who hosted Eurovision 2002 in Tallinn, will be performing, while Uku Suviste returns to the contest stage having represented Estonia in 2021. Maarja-Liis Ilus, Priit Loog and Jüri Pootsmann will host the show.

Estonia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1994 alongside six other countries. At the contest in Dublin, they were represented by Silvi Vrait, who finished 2nd last scoring just 2 points. In 2001 Estonia won the Eurovision Song Contest for the only time to date. They were represented by Tanel Padar, Dave Benton & 2XL, who performed the song “Everybody” and took a surprise victory in Copenhagen. After the success of the late-90s and early 00s, Estonia failed to qualify for the final from 2004-2008. In 2009 Estonia launched a new selection show, Eesti Laul, and has since qualified for the final six out of ten attempts.
