Two dancers will remain for the Dutch performance at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Paris, France.
The Netherlands looks to be keeping a similar performance to their national final, with Ayana set to be joined by the same two dancers. Janera and Rowenaly performed in Junior Songfestival alongside Ayana and are travelling with the singer to France for the competition.

Traditionally the Netherlands keeps their performances for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest very similar to that of their national selection. As a result, it would be surprising should many changes appear in her performance in next weeks final.
Who is Ayana?
Ayana Voss was born on May 7 2007 in Bussum in North Holland to an English father and a Japanese mother. As a result of her upbrining, she speaks Dutch, English and Japanese. She has two older twin sisters, Selina and Emina, and a pet tortoise called Man-nen (“ten thousand years” in Japanese).
She will sing “Mata sugu aō ne”, (またすぐ会おうね – See you soon) a song about missing her family in Japan. This is the second time that Japanese will be heard at Junior Eurovision having first been featured in the Serbian entry in 2006.

The Netherlands debuted at the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and is one of only two countries to have taken part in every edition to date. To date the country has only won the competition once. Their only victory came in 2009 when Ralf Mackenbach performed “Click Clack” scoring a total of 121 points, this was just 5 points more than runners-up Armenia and Russia. The Netherlands narrowly lost the contest in 2011 when Rachel performed “Teenager”, she lost by 5 points. The Netherlands’ worst result came in 2015 when Shalisa finished in 15th place out of 17 competing countries.
