Armenian Junior Eurovision representative, Maléna, has performed an acoustic cover of “Erazanq”.
At the Armenian Public TV 65th Anniversary concert, Maléna performed a cover of “Erazanq”, Armenia’s debut Junior Eurovision entry from 2007. The song was originally performed by Arevik and finished in 2nd place at the 2007 contest in Rotterdam.
Maléna will represent Armenia at this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest with “Qami Qami”. She had been due to represent the country at the 2020 contest before they withdrew. She had been internally selected to represent AMPTV on the nation’s return to the competition this year.

Armenia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, and have had 13 entries to date. The country is one of the most successful in the history of the contest, placing in the top 3 on 7 occasions, and winning once in 2010. Their victory came from Vladimir Arzumanyan with his song “Mama”, which received 120 points. Armenia then went on to host the contest on home soil in Yerevan in 2011. Their debut was almost as successful, as Arevik and their song “Erazanq” was just 1 point off the winning score.
