🇷🇸 Serbia: Jovana And Dunja Commence Junior Eurovision Rehearsals

Jovana and Dunja have commenced rehearsals in Belgrade for their participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

Jovana and Dunja have started their rehearsals for the 19th Junior Eurovision Song Contest in less than one month’s time.  The two singers were in Belgrade today to start working with Milica Cerović on their performance of “Children’s Eyes”.

Milica Cerović is no stranger to Eurovision or Junior Eurovision. Milica worked on the staging for the Serbian entry for Eurovision 2015 and has staged Serbia’s Junior Eurovision entries in 2015, 2016 and 2019, as well as Montenegro’s 2015 entry.

Who are Jovana and Dunja?

Jovana Radonjić was born on January 19, 2011, and is from Novi Sad, while Dunja Zivkovic was born on July 22, 2010 and is also from Novi Sad. Both have been performing since a young age and have won a number of different competitions. The duo was selected by a jury at RTS from a total of seven submissions received for the contest in Paris.

Serbia made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as an independent country in 2006. They were represented by Neustrašivi učitelji stranih jezika on their debut with the song “Učimo strane jezike”, finishing 5th with 81 points. Serbia went on to compete annually until 2010, after which point RTS withdrew from the contest due to financial difficulties. Serbia returned to the contest in 2014 and has gone on to compete in the contest annually.
