Shine’s entry for the Junior Songfestival 2021 has been revealed as “A Million Little Things”.

The final of the four songs competing to represent the Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 has been revealed. “A Million Little Things” will be performed by Priscilla, the song has been written and composed by Robert Dorn, Shine is formed of Jade, Lyova en Loïs.

The final of Junior Songfestival 2021 takes place on September 25. The four competing acts are:

  • Melody – Angelina, Ceder, Faye, Mirre and Soline
  • Shien – Jade, Loïs and Lyova
  • Ayana
  • Priscilla
Junior Eurovision 2021

Paris will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 on December 19 in La Seine Musicale. The following countries have confirmed their participation so far:

  • 🇩🇪 Germany
  • 🇮🇪 Ireland
  • 🇳🇱 Netherlands
  • 🇵🇱 Poland
  • 🇵🇹 Portugal – Simão Oliveira

  • 🇪🇸 Spain
  • 🇺🇦 Ukraine

Unity represented the Netherlands in Warsaw with “Best Friends”. They finished 4th with 132 points.

The Netherlands debuted at the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 and is one of only two countries to have taken part in every edition to date. To date the country has only won the competition once. Their only victory came in 2009 when Ralf Mackenbach performed “Click Clack” scoring a total of 121 points, this was just 5 points more than runners-up Armenia and Russia. The Netherlands narrowly lost the contest in 2011 when Rachel performed “Teenager”, she lost by 5 points. The Netherlands’ worst result came in 2015 when Shalisa finished in 15th place out of 17 competing countries.
