Four more artists have qualified for the final of Melodifestivalen 2021 following tonight’s Andra Chansen show.
Tonight the Second Chance round of Melodifestivalen 2021 took place in Stockholm, Sweden, with four artists completing the line-up for the final on Saturday next week. Tonight’s host was former Melodifestivalen participant, Shirley Clamp who has competed six times in the Swedish pre-selection between 2004-2013.
The duels this evening were (qualifying acts in bold):
- Alvaro Estrella – Baila Baila vs. Lillasyster – Pretender
- Frida Green – The Silence vs. Paul Rey – The Missing Piece
- Eva Rydberg & Ewa Roos – Rena Rama Ding Dong vs. Clara Klingenström – Behöver inte dig idag
- Klara Hammarström – Beat of Broken Hearts vs. Efraim Leo – Best of Me
The final of Melodifestivalen 2021 will take place next Saturday at the Annexet venue in Stockholm. Twelve artists will compete for their chance to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. They are:

- Arvingarna – Tänker inte alls gå hem
- Dotter – Little Tot
- Anton Ewald – New Religion
- Charlotte Perelli – Still Young
- Tusse – Voices
- Eric Saade – Every Minute
- The Mamas – In the Middle
- Alvaro Estrella – Baila Baila
- Paul Rey – The Missing Piece
- Clara Klingenström – Behöver inte dig idag
- Klara Hammarström – Beat of Broken Hearts

Sweden debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1958 and has gone on to be one of the contest’s most successful countries. The country has won the contest six times, the most recent being in 2015. Sweden’s first victory came in 1974 when ABBA won the contest in Brighton with “Waterloo”. Since missing out on the final in 2010, Sweden has gone on to finish 3rd twice and has won the contest twice, only in 2013 did the country place outside of the top 10 in the final.
