A total of 2.1 million viewers watched the Opening Ceremony of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 on Monday.
Over 2 million viewers watched on TVP1 and TVP Info on Monday evening as the Opening Ceremony for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was broadcast on time delay. The figures equate to a viewing share of 17.5% and bode well for interest in the competition which is being hosted by TVP this Sunday.
The Opening Ceremony was broadcast on a 20 minute time delay and was commentated on by Artur Orzech. The Ceremony was hosted by Mateusz Szymkowiak, with last years winner Viki Gabor performing the common song for the contest.
The twelve countries will be competing in the final of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on November 29. Germany is making its debut in the competition this year, while Poland is the first country to host the contest two editions in a row. The running order is as follows:
