Gjon’s Tears has confirmed on Instagram that he has chosen the song he will perform at Eurovision 2021.
Switzerland’s Gjon’s Tears is the latest artist to confirm that he has chosen the song that he will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. The singer took to Instagram Stories to say that as of a few days ago, the song that he will perform next May had been chosen. The singer is also working on new music with his band that will be released soon as well.
In May SRF outlined how they would selected the Swiss song for 2021. The broadcaster said at the time it was “looking for a modern, striking song that complies with international requirements. The lyrics should have a strong, clear and understandable message”. All songs that were created at a series of songwriting camps were to be reviewed editorially before a shortlist is then presented to a 100 person viewer panel and a 20 person jury of international specialists.
